Observation

During the course of the complaint assessment it was reported by a staff member that they observed another staff member throw a ball at a child. It was also reported by the center director that the staff member was seen on video footage throwing a ball at a child. The staff member that was observed throwing a ball at a child was placed on a Performance Improvement Plan which stated the objective of the plan was to redirect children’s behavior in a way that does not belittle or possible hurt children.
